My name is Brittany Brooks I'm 20 years young living in Plainfield, Indiana. Here's a little bit about me and my passion for mustangs I have. I've love cars ever since I was a little girl. I wasn't the average little girly girl; I always love helping my grandfather when it came to cars. When I was little my grandfather use to gear me all up in a race car and we would go to the dirt track behind the house to run laps. He was the first to teach me how to drive, race, and work on cars. As time went on and I got older I watch my grandfather inspirer my growth, passion, and love for cars create into beauty. When I was six years old my grandfather had bought a cobra 1996 which had been total. In the two years he knew he had left he started to rebuild this cobra from the inside to the outside all over again. The best part about it was he would always let me help even if I messed up. He would just laugh and say " baby doll it's ok your still my favorite little race car driver". When I was eight years old my Grandfather passed away. In his will he left me the 1996 cobra for when I was 16 years old I was allow to have it. When I turn 16 years old my father took me to my grandfather's house where the car sat. We took the cover off the car as I open the door to start it up there was a letter on the sit with my name baby doll. When I open the letter it made smile from ear to ear with tears running down my face the letter said, "Baby Doll, you're my little race car driver we built this car together, the only true project I have ever finish for once in my life". "Don't be sad just remember every time you drive were always together" Love, Grandpa. I still to this day have this car I only drive it on special times. Every time I drive this car I image the love and passion of my grandfather with him sitting in the passenger seat cursing down the road with the wind blowing thru our hair like when I was a little girl again. Today I own a grabber orange 2007 mustang my love for cars and especially mustangs will never die. This is one main reason I why recently September 6, 2009 joined the south side mustangs.
